Young Adults

Are you in the decade after high school (18-27)? What a time to be alive! We’d love to be your community as you explore Jesus-following as an adult. Welcome to University and Young Adults Ministry at Knox! Read on for a list of ways to connect and make sure to join us on Facebook and MailChimp to stay in the loop.

Summer is here! Things change a little…

Through the ‘school’ months, we have a weekly get together with bible studying, praying, discussing and all that good stuff, but things change in the summer a little. Through June, we’ll be getting together for some more relaxed food and such. Message Fiona to check in on our next gathering, fiona@knoxtoronto.org.

(AND! If you just can’t get enough lectures and deeper learning about faith and what God is up to in the world, we really recommend joining the crew at Perspectives this summer on Wednesdays. All the information is here.)

YA Gatherings

Every month we host a broader gathering. We might be going to an event in the city. We might be hanging out to dive into a deeper topic together. We are definitely eating good food. It’s a chance to connect a bit more, to explore something new, and to continue expanding our invitation. Have something you’d like us to try or discuss? Email Fiona, fiona@knoxtoronto.org.

Welcome BBQ

Every September, we have a big old BBQ to welcome you into the city and to Knox. Dates for this year, coming soon…

Adopt-a-student

New to the city and looking for ways to feel a little more at home here? New to Knox and looking for connections beyond your peer group? Since church at its best means family, we do this thing called ‘Adopt-a-student’ – where members of the congregation commit to connecting with you and more often than not feeding you a bunch. If you’d like to be “adopted” this year, contact Fiona for more information, fiona@knoxtoronto.org.

Campus Groups

Are you a student at U of T, Ryerson or OCADU? Undergrad and graduate students are encouraged to meet our friends at Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship, Power2Change, and CRC Graduate Christian Fellowship. George Brown students are welcome to connect with the same ministries at the university campus closest to them, too!
