Are you in the decade after high school (18-27)? What a time to be alive! We’d love to be your community as you explore Jesus-following as an adult. Welcome to University and Young Adults Ministry at Knox! Read on for a list of ways to connect and make sure to join us on Facebook and MailChimp to stay in the loop.
One of our favourite things about church is watching how God gathers people from all different backgrounds and cultures, ages and stages to be together in community and teach each other about how to be a kingdom people. Everybody’s always learning, but students and young adults are learning for the first time as, well, adults. So we encourage you to get involved: join a ministry team, ask your questions, make a new friend, serve together. Explore the wild experiment of following Jesus at work, in school, as you navigate the city. Contact Fiona - email@example.com - to chat about where and how you’d like to connect.
Through the ‘school’ months, we have a weekly get together with bible studying, praying, discussing and all that good stuff, but things change in the summer a little. We meet Wednesday for Jays games, karaoke, backyard bible studies around campfires, you name it! Then regular Home Churches will resume (throughout Knox) starting the week of September 16th. Message Fiona to check in on our next gathering, firstname.lastname@example.org.
Every month we host a broader gathering. We might be going to an event in the city. We might be hanging out to dive into a deeper topic together. We are definitely eating good food. It’s a chance to connect a bit more, to explore something new, and to continue expanding our invitation. Have something you’d like us to try or discuss? Email Fiona, email@example.com.
Sunday, September 8 after 11am and 4:30pm worship
Every September, we have a big old BBQ to welcome you into the city and to Knox. Join us after either service on September 8th for a tasty welcome (or welcome back) to church!
Are you a student at U of T, Ryerson or OCADU? Undergrad and graduate students are encouraged to meet our friends at Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship, Power2Change, and CRC Graduate Christian Fellowship. George Brown students are welcome to connect with the same ministries at the university campus closest to them, too!
