Waiting in the Tension | Silence & Singing
Advent is a season of waiting — but not of emptiness. It’s the space between God’s promises and their fulfillment, between silence and song. In Luke 1–2, we find people waiting faithfully as God’s long silence finally breaks. From Zechariah’s quiet temple service to Mary’s unexpected calling, from the humble home of Elizabeth to the dark fields of Bethlehem, God’s voice begins to sing again. This sermon series, Waiting in the Tension: Silence and Singing, invites us to listen for God in the stillness, to trust him in the waiting, and to join heaven’s song when Christ the Saviour is born. Because even in the silence, God is composing a song of redemption. Read more about the series.
Sundays at 11am — In person + online
