Service of Scripture and Prayer

To register for this Sunday, click here to fill out this form.

While we plan to continue worshipping online as an entire church body throughout the pandemic, we will also be experimenting with smaller in-person gatherings in the coming months, including in the sanctuary.

For the next three Sundays, we will host a Service of Scripture and Prayer at 3:00pm on-site at Knox. This will be a shorter service of readings, contemplative music and prayers designed to provide a space of retreat from the screens that dominate our lives during this season.

For these gatherings, we will continue to follow the most current public health research and guidelines in order to love our neighbours well by reducing the risk of transmission.

Here's what you need to know:

  • There will be no congregational singing at these services.

  • We are limiting the number of attendees to 50 per service.

  • Please sign up in advance at the links made available on our website and in the weekly emails.

  • At this point, we ask you to sign up for only one  service at a time, in order to make space for everyone who may want to attend to have the chance to do so.

  • You can expect hospitable but enthusiastic adherence to all public health guidelines about social distancing, masks, traffic flow and seating arrangements when you arrive at the church.

Finally, we want to acknowledge that for some of us, the experience of social distancing has been more acutely isolating than for others. If you’ve enjoyed the privilege of living and worshipping with others in your home throughout the pandemic, please consider waiting to sign up until those who live alone—or have limited access to the internet—have had the chance to do so.
