Grow in Prayer

Through the centuries many saints of our faith have reflected on the importance of prayer.

Prayer is the best reflection of and the only foundation of a life of loving devotion to God. It is the place where we commune with God and acknowledge that our lives, and our church, are nothing without God’s guidance and leadership. We encourage everyone to challenge themselves to grow in prayer. If you’re a part of our church or thinking of becoming part of our church, here are some next steps to consider.

Join in a prayer ministry

Below are a number of our prayer ministry opportunities. Some are groups who meet (online or in-person), some are volunteer roles with training and leadership commitments, and others are updates with prayer items to pray for during your personal prayer time.

Sunday Prayer for Worship
Sundays at 9:45am
An open group for people to gather and pray over our worship time and for the needs of our church. Meetings are in-person and through Zoom. Contact Elder Norine Love, eldernorine@knoxtoronto.org.

Men’s Monthly Prayer
2nd Saturday of the month, morning

3rd Thursday of the month, evening

Prayer Leadership

After-Worship Prayer Teams
Those interested caring for others through prayer are welcome to join our teams of trained prayer leaders who offer prayer for anyone in need after 11am worship. Training provided. Contact Rev. Nick, nick@knoxtoronto.org.

Missions Prayer Calendar
