Christmas Concert & Singalong

Our annual Christmas Concert and Singalong is a time for all ages to gather to sing seasonal favourites, enjoy the talents of city musicians, and take in again the good news of Christmas — that Christ was born! This year the Knox Choir will lead us alongside vocal ensemble EmBoddiement and pianist Eunjin Kim.

This year’s concert will support Scott Mission.

Get your tickets, make a donation! 100% of your donation supports the Scott Mission. Since 1941, Scott Mission has been responding to the needs of individuals and families who face hunger and homelessness—offering practical, emotional, and spiritual support to love our neighbours across the GTA. Love is the way they serve and bring dignity to those who need a helping hand—and we love that about them!

Come for the concert, stay for some treats!

After the music, all are invited to mingle as you're able — we'll have Christmas treats and beverages the whole family can enjoy.

About Our Special Guests

Emboddiement. Meeting in 2012 through a chance encounter as students at McMaster University, Emily Taub joined forces with Jonathan and Kyle Boddie to create EmBoddiement—a vocal trio specializing in Gospel and Jazz, with Classical influences. The group crafts original vocal arrangements, with an emphasis on a cappella music. EmBoddiement has performed all across the GTA and has been featured on a variety of stages, most notably opening for Gospel artist, Travis Greene, as well as lending their distinct approach to vocal music as guest clinicians for the Niagara CDSB Vocal Festival. Each member being a musician and artist in their own right, they come together to create something greater than the sum of its parts. They ‘EmBoddie’ both harmonic innovation and vocal tradition.

She has composed the music for two short films, Garden Salad and The Year of the Rat, and has been featured on Jazzology on JazzFM.

Currently, she works as a ballet pianist at Canada’s National Ballet School, Etobicoke Ballet, and InStudio – The National Ballet of Canada. In addition to her work in ballet, Eunjin performs as a jazz pianist at various events, either as a soloist or in duos, trios, and full band settings across the Greater Toronto Area.
