Jesus says, “blessed are those who mourn” and “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
The Longest Night is a reflective service that makes space for grief in the midst of a time that may bring up the pain of loss and loneliness for some of us, even in the midst of a season of hope. In this space we lay our grief and burdens at the feet of Jesus, remembering that we are not alone and that truly we are deeply loved.
