Jesse Ketchum Trust Fund Grants 2021
The Trustees are now receiving applications for 2021 grants from the Jesse Ketchum Trust Fund. Is there a Christian organization you love that needs funds? Look over the details below, and if that organization meets the grant criteria, please pass on the following application information through sharing a link to this page, or the following pdf.
BACKGROUND
The Jesse Ketchum Trust Fund (JKTF) was established through the generosity of Jesse Ketchum over 150 years ago. He had the foresight to transfer a parcel of land to what is now Knox Presbyterian church and set up a mechanism for ongoing generation of funds. The trust was established to support current ministers of Knox as well as the support of public worship and the propagation of Christian knowledge. It is our practice to use a portion of the available funds to provide grants to outside organizations. Grants typically have been given to organizations focused on Christian education, local missions or international missions. Many of the organizations that are currently supported share a connection with Knox Church. In 2020, we granted a total of $85,000 distributed to 15 organizations. There is $85,000 available for distribution in 2021.
